Getting Involved

NWS seeks to develop partnerships with government and community agencies to jointly promote and deliver programs which maximise the opportunities for Aboriginal Australians living in Nyoongar Country to gain health, education, social and cultural benefits, and to achieve success in all types and at all levels of sport and physical recreation participation.

In order for us to be successful we need your help!  There are a number of ways that you can contribute or get involved including: becoming a partner/sponsor, providing in-kind support, becoming a volunteer or mentor, becoming a member and being better informed.

In-Kind Support
If you or your organisation can assist with the provision of any of the following resources, or you have other ideas of what you may be able to assist with, please contact us by telephone or email:
• Sporting goods and equipment
• First aid supplies

• Vehicles
• Subsidised access to sporting facilities
• Basic groceries and foodstuffs (eg: fruit, bottled water)
• Camping equipment

Become a Volunteer or Mentor

NWS relies on the support and assistance of both community volunteers and role models to develop and deliver our programs and projects within Nyoongar Country.  If you are interested in becoming either a volunteer or role model please contact us by telephone or email.
